Repeat Prescriptions

If you are on regular long-term medication, and your doctor agrees, you may request a repeat prescription at the reception desk by using our ‘post box’, online via our access system or alternatively you may send a stamped self-addressed envelope for the prescription to be posted to you.  Your pharmacy may offer a prescription ordering service.

Prescriptions requested Monday to Thursday are ready for collection 48 hours later.

Prescriptions requested on a Friday are ready for collection at Reception by 3.00pm the following Tuesday, excluding bank and local holidays.

Prescriptions can be requested and uplifted by your pharmacist, who will inform you of timescales for collection.

Patients receiving repeat prescriptions may be asked to see the doctor periodically for review of their medication.  The practice does not dispense prescriptions.
